Summer Time!

Bubbles!!!  She did it!  ...But how much soap did she eat?

While not all the days are sunny and warm, we sure enjoy the ones that come!

Some things we do...

These are just some pictures/movies of some of our activities.  We try to have some fun :)

Dancing to Daddy's Jazz is so fun (And Landon makes an appearance)

This was on the way to "Sacred Gifts" exhibit at BYU.
Not the most kid-entertaining, but we were glad we went!

William got a nice big scrape and bonk trying to catch a ball.
We were playing on our cement pad outside our apartment.
One day we'll have grass :)
(Doesn't his face just say 'oh poor me?' I was asking
him about his 'owie')

The kids got out my socks, so we had an impromptu dress up!
it was fun :)

a frequent but short lived favorite, the piano

turning the pages is more fun than the keys...

Grandpa and Lily Anne!

William dressed up for Aunt Lizzie's Wedding.
He was excited to be at the Temple.

I made William and Lily Anne play-dough rabbits.
William is putting his to bed in this movie.
Lily Anne was so funny with the Play dough.  She loved mixing it up with us, and was really disappointed that she couldn't stir (She is still to short standing on the boosters and I couldn't manage 2 pots of play-dough and William And hold Lily Anne...)  Anyway, I made her's up and put her at the table with it, after tasting it she got really upset.  She clearly thought we were making a treat to eat.  After the second batch was done a few minutes later we all sat down and I rolled her's out and showed her how to push shapes in it.  She caught on to that really quick and would hit her play dough with them, see that she made a mark, and laugh "haha"

First (real) snow this season!

This is the first snow we've had that Lily Anne can walk and play in.  Its fun to see her experience it.

This morning when I showed the snow to William I opened the window blinds and he said "Ohhh!" I asked him what it was, and he said "its... rain!"

He also does NOT like snow on his face. Unless of course he is eating it.  When we came back inside he said  "that was good, snow is yummy!"

Our Little "Reader"

William doesn't actually read.  But he has most of his books memorized, and he likes to "read" them to himself.  (My favorite is hearing his little voice come out of my room during "bedroom time" before he falls asleep.  He'll read books/sing to himself for quite a long time)

I love his troll voice!

A Photoshoot

Sometimes, I wish I were a great photographer.  The above picture almost convinces me that I am, but when I look at most of the other
pictures I took today--approximately 400--I begin to doubt again.
Good thing I've got many years to keep practicing!
:)

But there were a few cute ones.  I've included some below.

Fall really is a great time of year, isn't it?

if this one wasn't fuzzy it would be perfect!

Our Singer

So William is our little singer.  He sings Silly songs, primary songs, owl city, and now... Keane (For those of you who don't know Keane, its a British band that Weston has liked for a long time)

So the Silly songs and Primary songs:

And Owl City's Good Time you've seen before:

Now What what we've all been waiting for! Williams Cover for The Sovereign light Cafe!

...sometimes 'Cafe' sounds like 'Parfait' :D

Bird watching, among other things.

We have been loving having windows in provo!  The kids love to watch the critters--mostly birds--from our window.

These Mule deer are nice, but I do miss seeing White-tailed deer.  It's nice to see some critters of any variety though :)

Its hard to believe that we will soon be watching bears and moose through our windows in the Great Land...

We also have a fish now too!

My favorite is how they love to watch us go bye bye.  William was having a hard time letting Daddy go back to school this semester so we started a "climb up on the couch so you can watch Daddy go bye-bye" routine and it works like magic!  William is almost excited for Daddy to leave so he can climb up on the couch and see him wave before he bikes off!

And We're BACK! So here's to catching up...

We have internet!  :) So I plan on putting more up in the future.

So first the birthday.  Lily Anne turned 1 on the 10th of September, and while she didn't love opening presents, she loved playing with them.

I love watching her face when she sees the baby doll!  :)

They both loved the toys.

Lily Anne loves signing, here she signs a few of the ones she knows.

We had fun visiting the Duck Pond too...  (There were baby ducks!  Weird. They let me catch them.  Weirder.)
