Pico:
We had a little bit of a hard time choosing Pico's name, but in the end we are all happy with it. The runners up were Max, Percy, and Nero. The biggest reason I like "Pico" for a name is because it sounds perky just like his little personality. It is also easy to say. Furthermore, I like the meaning of Pico. After all, Pico is a pretty small guy. It's also funny because Pico's Dad's name is Einstein, and that just goes together well. (Pico also means 'peak' and 'beak' (Pico de gallo, aka beak of chicken) in spanish)
I decided before I got Pico that I would cut his fur myself. I didn't think it would be too bad...
...then I did some "socializing" with the clippers at 11ish weeks.
But when I actually did clip him, I thought he did quite well. Certainly better then I expected from his early introduction.
Pico has really been great. He has normal puppy things we are working through (the most persistent being that he wants to chew up EVERYTHING!) But he really is doing quite well. Its so nice having a dog around again! And he has really excelled at his job of cleaning up the floor :D He even tries to eat dried beans and wheat. ...He's very food motivated
