William had some great one-liners.
Upon his first fish encounter, William nervously said "Don't eat my foot, fishy!"
Now he starts warming up to the fish and decided they were hungry, so he asked "I feed him a rock?"
...sorry William, he doesn't want to eat your rock...
He slipped on rocks, fell in the river, and scuffed his hand, he was crying and whining. When he recovered a bit he said "Fish help William be better!"
After he got comfortable with the pole, fish, and fish catching ideas he determinedly pics up a fishing pole (from the wrong end) while declaring "I need do it by myself!"
And the shortest, but perhaps my favorite: "He's fighting!!!"

...I do believe we have a fisher-toddler on our hands. Needless to say, Weston is very excited!

ReplyDeleteWow! Lily Anne is BEAUTIFUL! She was cute before, but she just keeps getting prettier! I was so impressed I took my computer over to Peter so he could see too :)

I am so sad it will be four months until we see you again! I'm glad it looks like you have had a fun summer though! The scenery is amazing where you live!
Yeah, We're going to miss you for the next few months but we're glad you will be back for a while before we're gone. I hope the east coast is treating you guys well. I loved the pictures you sent!
